Olson Engage Dominates Innovation SABRE Shortlist

Agency secures a record 22 finalists

CHICAGO – Continuing a strong run of national recognition, Olson Engage campaigns were shortlisted for a record 22 Innovation SABRE Awards this week.

Created by the Holmes Report in 2014, the Innovation SABRE Awards celebrate “what’s next” in marketing and communications, recognizing that marketers and agencies are being expected to “deliver mire – more content, more creativity, more measurement.”   And they draw entries from virtually all of the biggest names in the PR agency universe.

 Olson Engage’s 22 shortlist mentions were the highest single-year total in the history of the competition. No other firm this year had more than 16, and no other midsized agency had more than 11. Campaigns for clients including BEHR Paint, Elevate Minnesota, GE Healthcare, Oscar Mayer, Paqui Chips, Skittles and Starburst were nominated across multiple categories within Experiential, Earned Media, Paid Media & Sponsorship, Social Media & Community Management, Brand Content & Creativity and Special Campaigns verticals.  

Paqui’s “One-Chip Challenge” was the most shortlisted campaign in the competition, with seven finalist nominations and Starburst’s “All-Pink Starburst” placed second, with four nominations.Winners will be announced on Feb. 13.

The news follows earlier announcement’s that the agency was shortlisted for four PR Week Awards, including Outstanding Midsize Agency (for the third straight year) and a Digiday Video Awards nomination for its Pure Leaf “Mastercraft” video series.
