Olson Engage Taps Jason Miller to Lead Social Engagement

Social leader brings client-side experience from Beam Suntory, PF Chang's

CHICAGO  –  Upgrading an already strong social offering, Olson Engage today named Jason Miller its new vice president for social engagement.

Miller was most recently vice president of digital and social at FleishmanHillard. Previously, he held client side roles as a social marketing manager at Beam Suntory and as a communications and marketing manager at P.F. Chang’s China Bistro.

Miller will split his time between the agency’s Chicago and Minneapolis offices, working closely with the agency’s creative, analytics, media and account teams to ensure integrated client programs and ideas thrive.

“Great talent drives all that we do for our clients and in Jason we’ve gained even more outstanding experience and leadership in the social space,” said Olson Engage President Bryan Specht. “He understands how earned and social media can drive each other, and work across the full spectrum of digital channels.”

He’s the third senior hire by the 120-person agency in 2016, joining Executive Vice President Jeff Olson, who was formerly the senior director of U.S. brand reputation at McDonald’s Corp., and Vice President Joe Edelson, who formerly led the media practice at Citizen Relations in New York City.

“Olson Engage is an agency I thorough enjoyed working with and have continued to admire for a long time,” said Miller, who was a client of the agency during his tenure at P.F. Chang’s. “There are great people doing exciting work for some of the best brands anywhere, and I’m excited to join them.”
